Miel Pósito Real is a family business of beekeepers from La Alcarria, Cuenca, who know these lands better than anyone. With a lot of love and work, they have been taking care of their hives for years. Since 2015 they have been with this project that seeks to find a healthy, natural and artisan product. They began their activity with 450 Layens type hives, this type is the most used in Spain for transhumance, and owes its name to its inventor George de Layens who modified a mobile frame hive in 1874. After the first pecks, spilled honey and confusing labels, they moved towards high-quality honey, where they understood that the best conditions for the bee offer honey that meets all the requirements in terms of flavor, color and aroma. The honeys that are not optimal for packaging are used to make natural cosmetic products that the Pósito Real also offer to their customers. Without a doubt, a very sweet pleasure.

Aceites Olivares de Altomira was born with the purpose of recovering one of the most characteristic agricultural practices of our land, the olive tradition. This is how Olivares de Altomira extra virgin olive oil comes about, extracted from ancient olive trees native to the Altomira mountain range. These olive groves extend in a mountainous strip that runs from north to south through the Baja Alcarria region of Cuenca. The extreme conditions and severe climate with temperatures between -17 and 40 degrees, and its location at almost a thousand meters of altitude have kept them free of pests and diseases for centuries. Their work continues in the same traditional way: "we prune before spring, we till the soil and we will collect its fruit in December and always, without irrigation or any sanitary treatment." Its production is limited, offering a product of authentic naturalness and high quality.
